Before she leaves, SO takes out the bullet necklace and asks CHAN to return it to WESLEY. One day, MRS. CHENG, widow of the late tycoon CHENG TIN LUK, comes to see WESLEY. She asks WESLEY to assist her in finding out if LUK is still alive, as there is a rumor that LUK is being locked up in the secret chamber. But KWOK is told that YUE has already been dismissed. KWOK discovers that LUK’s son CHENG PO WAN is deeply in debt and that he could inherit his father’s property right after LUK’s death. It means WAN can pay off the debt once he has got the money from his father. This makes WESLEY suspect that WAN may have something to do with LUK’s death……
